Why do couples seek therapy
Building and maintaining a long-term healthy relationship is a learned skill that unfortunately may not have been modeled for many of us growing up; couples therapy can help you and your partner learn the skills necessary to understand and resolve relationship conflicts in a healthy way.
In therapy, we can help you deal with tough issues, like persistent arguments or recovering from an affair while making sure both of you feel heard and respected. The process can also help you decide what to do next, what each partner wants, and how it might affect any children you have.

“Successful long-term relationships are created through small words, small gestures, and small acts.”
Parenting Support
Parenting is one of life’s most meaningful roles, but it can also be deeply challenging. I provide both new and experienced parents with strategies, emotional support, and guidance for managing the challenges of raising children.
Postpartum Depression- Postpartum mental health issues, such as postpartum depression and anxiety, are common but often go undiagnosed and untreated. Therapy offers new parents a crucial opportunity to address these challenges proactively.
Parenting Skills and Knowledge- I can offer guidance on topics such as infant care, child development, setting boundaries, and positive discipline techniques.
Managing Behavioral Issues- Therapy can provide support and strategies to manage defiance, tantrums, or school issues
Align Parenting Styles- Parents with different believes or backgrounds may have different parenting styles. A therapist can help align parties to relieve relationship stress associated with parenting methods.
Special Needs Support- Raising children with special needs (ADHD, autism, anxiety, etc) can be difficult on both parents and children. I provide support to manage the stress of raising a child with a disability, focusing on developing emotional regulation, building resilience, and improving family communication and relationships
